Marvel Cinematic Universe has confirmed a bewitching series in the making. Despite Wandavision ending in March, a spin-off series is brewing in the distance, and the evil and powerful Agatha Harkness landed her own spin-off series.

Although most of the details are being kept tightly sealed, Kathryn Hahn will be reprising her role as the ancient and powerful Agatha Harkness. Wandavision head writer Jac Schaeffer is returning to write and executive produce the series.

The spin-off will join the list of limited productions slated to air soon, such as Hawkeye, Secret Invasion, Ms. Marvel, She-Hulk, Ironheart, Moon Knight, and Guardians of the Galaxy Holiday Special. Loki and What If…? second seasons are in development. In addition, Wanda Maximoff will be returning in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness which will release on March 25, 2022.

Hahn played nosy neighbor Agnes. Later in the series, Agatha is revealed to be Agatha Harkness, an evil and powerful sorceress. Agatha is found out to be behind all of Wanda and Vision’s problems. Her goal was to vanquish Wanda and take her powers but ends being defeated and placed in the small portion of the hex (the world Wanda created) where she has no memory of being Agatha but as nosey neighbor Agnes. This paves the way for a possible spin-off.

Wandavision was an instant hit, earning three Emmys and being nominated for twenty-three. One of the Emmys won was for Outstanding Original Music and Lyrics for “Agatha All Along.”  While fans wait for more details, Wandavison can be streamed on Disney+.
