Cat Power is officially back with new music. “The Greatest” hitmaker announced on The Late Late Show with James Corden that her new record will contain a collection of covers.

Chan Marshall, better known by her stage name Cat Power, will be releasing a new record titled Covers on January 14. The singer took to Instagram to share that Covers will help “chase away your winter blues.” Power has shared two songs already on the twelve-song record: Frank Ocean’s “Bad Religion” and The Pogues’ “A Pair of Brown Eyes.”

“The Moon” singer revealed her surprise announcement on The Late Late Show with James Corden on October 6, leaving the fans wild. Corden tells the audience that Power will be singing one of these covers: Frank Ocean’s “Bad Religion” off his 2012 album, Channel Orange.

The talk show host then asked the singer in the interview, “What was it about Frank Ocean’s “Bad Religion” that made you want to cover it?” She replies, “For years when it came out, I just instantly fell in love with it.” The singer also recalled a frightening incident in New York over twenty years earlier, and when she first heard “Bad Religion,” she felt like Ocean was there with her in her life. After her brief rambling, she then shared that that’s what you do when you love songs; you connect with them.

The singer will be covering an array of artists on this record. From Frank Ocean to Lana Del Rey to Billie Holiday, Power’s vocals will undoubtedly leave fans in awe. Covers will consist of 12 tracks:

01 Bad Religion (Frank Ocean cover)
02 Unhate (Cat Power – Chan Marshall cover)
03 Pa Pa Power (Dead Man’s Bones cover)
04 White Mustang (Lana Del Rey cover)
