Darren Criss Has Us All in the Holiday Spirit With New Album ‘A Very Darren Crissmas’
It’s time to bust out the egg nog and fruit cake because Darren Criss just released his first-ever holiday album, A Very Darren Crissmas.
This full-length album is a mix of classic Christmas songs and original music from Criss himself. Not to mention the fabulous features of special guests such as Adam Lambert, Evan Rachel Wood, and Lainey Wilson.

Criss spoke to PEOPLE about what the album meant for him and why he dedicated it to his late father. While talking about his father, Criss said, “He gave everybody around him the kind of joy the songs are about.”
Furthermore, a Christmas album is something that the singer-songwriter has had his sights set on for the longest. He mentioned, “Actors have their hit list of dream projects: ‘Oh, I want to do a costume drama. Or a romantic comedy or a horror movie.’ A holiday album is part of the repertoire that [musical] artists do at some point or another,”
