The first season contains ten, half-hour-long episodes. The show will revolve around Kitty, who thinks she knows everything about love, as she moves across from Portland to Seoul to be with her long-distance boyfriend whom she met during a trip to Korea in the third film, All the Boys I’ve Loved: Always and Forever. The young matchmaker soon realizes that relationships are more difficult than she expected.

Although there’s not a lot of information, Anna Cathcart will be reprising her role as Kitty. Lana Condor (Lara Jean) and Noah Centineo (Peter) are expected to return. Jenny Han, the author of the books that created the movies (To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before: P.S. I Still Love You, and Always and Forever), will serve as the co-showrunner along with Sasha Rothchild. Han and Rothchild will also serve as executive producers alongside Matt Kaplan of ACE Entertainment.
Ahhh! I first started following Alanna after reading her beautiful words about TATBILB (and HP) – so I love seeing this joy come full circle. And also legit excited to watch XO Kitty… Radical softness needs it moment. https://t.co/dntSvCAnQY

“When we first meet Kitty in the first film, I believe she was 11 or so 12. And then we got to grow up with her a bit through the years. So it is very special to see her come into her own and pick up the mantle.” Han described Kitty’s character, adding “She is probably the most self-possessed of the three girls. You know, she’s the kind of person who is very sure of herself and strong-willed and confident in the decisions she makes. The show will be about seeing her make a few stumbles and really grow into her own.”
No official release date has been announced. In the meantime, all of All the Boys I’ve Loved films are available on Netflix.
