Warner Brothers Drops New Trailer for ‘The Batman’
The bat light has been lit in the sky once again for the newest film, The Batman. The highly anticipated superhero film dropped its second trailer on October 16.
Batman has been a widely popular superhero, having 13 live-action films and eight actors in total portraying the role. The Batman is different from the rest of the films in this series, as it doesn’t show the origin story of Batman but instead, his second year of crime-fighting. Fans are ecstatic to see a very different depiction of Batman in the newest film.

Just watched the latest trailer for Matt Reeves’ version of “The Batman!” I love the visual sense, the color tones! The bat symbol, the batman, the bat-car, the delicate lines and silhouettes that are not so bare bones so far are exciting! pic.twitter.com/4OrFPzFPUK
The Batman trailer teases the main villain of the film, the Riddler. It opens with the Riddler getting arrested by the police, leaving behind a question mark in his cappuccino. In the trailer, you can hear the Riddler say, “What is black and blue and dead all over? You.” The Riddler and Batman will definitely be facing off in this film.
the riddler is why i love batman villains.

these characters are 80 years old & are still being reinvented. mixing elements of the zodiac killer with the riddler makes so much sense; riddler’s entire persona is based on clues & mystery, just like the zodiac killer. pic.twitter.com/4b69LbhXAU
From the trailer, we also see Batman in classic scenarios with explosions, car chases, fighting sequences, and romance. In addition, the trailer includes a glimpse of the infamous Batmobile and Batcave.
The film will star Robert Pattinson (Batman/Bruce Wayne), Zoë Kravitz (Catwoman), Colin Farrell (Penguin), Andy Serkis (Alfred), Peter Sarsgaard (Gil Colson), and Jeffrey Wright (James Gordon). The film will be directed and produced by Matt Reeves.
