New Trailer Drops for Netflix’s ‘The Princess Switch 3’
Fans of The Princess Switch franchise were met with a royal surprise when Netflix released the trailer for The Princess Switch 3: Romancing the Star on Thursday. The newest installment of the series will once again star Vanessa Hudgens—all three of her.
The trailer features Vanessa Hudgens three times over as she once again assumes the role of Margaret (now crowned Queen of Montero), Stacy the Princess of Belgravia, and the sassy blonde cousin to Margaret, Fiona.
Fans have been expressing their excitement for the film all over Twitter since the trailer dropped, with the Vanessa trinity at the center of the action.

The franchise began in 2018 with the first certified fresh installment, The Princess Switch, and continued in 2020 with The Princess Switch: Switched Again. Both regal romcoms double as Christmas films, and after this trailer, it’s clear that The Princess Switch 3 will not be breaking the holiday trend.

The official Netflix synopsis describes the blondest of the Vanessas, Fiona, joining forces with “a dashing, mysterious man from her past” to retrieve a special princess artifact. Those familiar with previous installments of the franchise could tell you that a plot teaser like this can only mean two things: magnificent romance and a classic switch.
Netflix will release The Princess Switch 3: Romancing the Star on November 18 for you to stream from the comfort of your own palace.
