“If they hadn’t gotten it under control, it could have been worse,” a spokesperson said. https://t.co/ixDb4QEa5t
Behold the mid-1920’s La Casa de Castille, which holds seven bedrooms and eight bathrooms with high ceilings. The mansion also has a main residence with three 1,000 square-foot apartments and an exquisite rooftop garden.
The power couple purchased the mansion when it was listed at $2.6 million in early 2015. Not only was the La Casa de Castille a church and a ballet school, but it was also a wedding venue and event space before the trendsetting couple purchased it.
This past July, the elegant house was unfortunately damaged due to a possible arson attempt where it burned for a total of two hours and required 22 firefighters to fully extinguish.
Although it is unknown if the award-winning power couple actually lived in the elegant three-story house, the price has been increasing rapidly. After just a week, the mansion went from $3.5 million to $4.45 million.
