Brandi Carlile Performs New Song ‘You and Me On The Rock’ on ‘Ellen’
Brandi Carlile debuted her song “You and Me On The Rock” from her seventh studio album, In These Silent Days, live on The Ellen Show. The “Broken Horses” singer performed on October 27.
Brandi Carlile appeared as a musical guest on yet another television show to promote her latest album, In These Silent Days. The singer performed “You and Me On The Rock,” featuring Lucius on good friend Ellen DeGeneres’ talk show. Ellen is currently in its last season, so it is bittersweet to have a talent as great as Carlile to take the stage.
Carlile has had a history-making the last few weeks. Not only did the singer debut “You and Me On The Rock” on Ellen, but she also made her grand debut to Saturday Night Live, a dream she always wanted for herself and her band.
The “Right on Time” singer took to Instagram to thank Ellen for allowing her to perform and debut her Joni Mitchell-sounding track. As Carlile’s vocals shine bright, she also thanked Lucius for “lifting the whole thing up.” She then ends her post by expressing how excited she is to perform “You and Me On The Rock” and other songs off In These Silent Days on tour next year.
In more exciting news, Carlile has announced a 2022 tour titled “Beyond These Silent Days.” The singer will be joined by special guests Lucius, The Indigo Girls, Sarah McLachlan, Celisse, Lake Street Dive, Ani DiFranco, Allison Russell, and Brittany Howard. She will begin her journey in Washington and end at Madison Square Garden in New York City. She will be visiting other major cities such as Los Angeles, Nashville, St. Paul, Chicago, and Boston.
