The Teaser Trailer for Pixar’s Film ‘Lightyear’ Is Out Now
Disney and Pixar invite fans to be kids again by releasing the teaser trailer for their new and upcoming film Lightyear. The film will star Chris Evans as the voice of Buzz Lightyear, and Pixar animator Angus MacLane will be directing.

This sci-fi action-adventure animated film will have fans buzzing. Although the teaser trailer is short and does not give a lot of detail, it showcases Buzz and his adventures.

This film will be about Buzz Lightyear, but not the Buzz fans know and love from the Toy Story franchise. Instead, this will be about Buzz and his origin story as a Space Ranger which inspired the action figures.

At the beginning of the teaser trailer, Buzz is suiting up to be sent into space for a mission. This film will have the adventure of a lifetime with Buzz jetting around space, going around the sun, having a robot partner, and more.

At the end of the teaser trailer, Buzz puts on the familiar green and white gear that fans have seen before. Buzz barely speaks in the teaser; however, fans can hear him and his buddy say the catchphrase “To infinity and….” Unfortunately, the teaser cuts off before Buzz can say the final word “beyond.”
Although there have not been many details about Lightyear, the film will debut in theaters in Summer 2022. Be sure to check out the teaser trailer below.
