Jennifer Aniston Is the Recipient of the Sherry Lansing Leadership Award
The Hollywood Reporter announced on Tuesday that Jennifer Aniston will be receiving The Sherry Lansing Leadership Award.
On December 8, The Hollywood Reporter will be hosting their annual Women in Entertainment breakfast gala in Los Angeles. Aniston is set to receive the award on this day, presented by her co-star on The Morning Show, Steve Carell.
The Sherry Lansing Leadership Award is a prestigious award that honors notably philanthropic artists and leaders in the entertainment industry. Past recipients of The Sherry Lansing Leadership Award include Oprah Winfrey, Reese Witherspoon, Meryl Streep, Barbra Streisand, Jodie Foster, and Barbara Walters. The award was named for the first-ever recipient, Sherry Lansing, who was the first woman to run a Hollywood Studio at 20th Century Fox.
Hollywood’s most powerful and influential women are set to be attending the gala, with Aniston among them as an Emmy and Golden Globe winner.
