Taylor Swift and Blake Lively Collaborate for New Music Video, ‘I Bet You Think About Me’
Taylor Swift’s new music video, ‘I Bet You Think About Me’ was directed by fellow actress and friend, Blake Lively. The “Look What You Made Me Do” singer, 31, posted on Instagram about the collab with the Gossip Girl alumni.
“SURPRISE! NEW MUSIC VIDEO TOMORROW at 10am ET 🚨 I finally got to work with the brilliant, brave, & wickedly funny @blakelively on her directorial debut. Join us as we raise a toast, and a little hell,” Swift tweeted. Lively shared the same clip on Instagram and wrote: “Tomorrow. 10am ET.”

The music video was released on November 15, starring Miles Teller. In the video, Teller is getting married while constantly thinking about Swift. Everybody is wearing white except for Swift, which she wears red. In the end, Swift’s red outfit turns into a wedding gown. A performer gifts Swift a red scarf, her wedding gown turned into a red dress. Teller realizes what he had, but Swift is already gone.

The song is suspected to be about her ex-boyfriend, Jake Gyllenhal, whom she dated for three months in 2010. The singer wrote the song back in 2011 with Lori McKenna. Although the song didn’t make it to the Red album, it landed a spot on Taylor’s Version of Red. Chris Stapleton sings along with Swift. The eleven-time Grammy-winning artist spoke with Country 102.5 about the song.

“We wanted this song to be, like, a comedic, tongue-in-cheek, funny, not caring what anyone thinks about you, sort of breakup song. Because there are a lot of different types of breakup songs on Red Some of them are very sincere, some of t.hem are very stoic and heartbreaking, and sad. We wanted this to be, like, the moment where you’re like, ‘I don’t care about anything!’ We wanted to kind of make people laugh with it and we wanted it to be, sort of, a drinking song, I think that’s what it ends up being.”
