Mary J. Blige Drops New Heat With Two New Singles From Forthcoming Album ‘Good Morning Gorgeous’
Mary J. Blige is back on the musical scene and has recently released two brand new singles, “Good Morning Gorgeous” and “Amazing,” featuring DJ Khaled. The 50-year-old Grammy Award-Winning songstress also announced her upcoming studio album, which is also called Good Morning Gorgeous.
Although Blige has been busy gracing our T.V.V. screens in popular crime drama series Power Book ll: Ghost, the veteran singer still made time to work on her 14th studio album, which follows a few years after her 2017 album Strength of a Woman.
In this new album, the Queen of Hip Hop Soul opened up more about her darkest moments during her journey to self-love and expressed her excitement about sharing with her fans.
According to Pitchfork, Blige stated in a press release:
“Working on this new album has been so much fun. I’m excited for my fans to hear these first two songs to give them a taste of what’s to come. I’m grateful to all my collaborators and partners who have walked with me through this process and even more grateful to my fans who I hope have a blast with this new music.”
In addition, the iconic songstress will be co-headlining the 2022 Super Bowl LVI Pepsi Halftime Show, where she will be performing alongside Kendrick Lamar, Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg, and Eminem.

Furthermore, Good Morning Gorgeous was written by Blige along with the likes of H.E.R, Tiara Thomas, D’Mille, and Lucky Dave. The hot new single was also produced by H.E.R. and D’mille with guitar and background vocals. Additionally, Khaled produced “Amazing” with Streetrunner and Azzouz.
