Billie Eilish Talks About Her First Met Gala Experience
Billie Eilish shared her experience at her first Met Gala. During an interview with Howard Stern on SiriusXM, she recalled how the Met Gala was filled with “nobodies.”
“It’s nuts. It’s famous people famous people-ing. That’s what it is. You know what, the main thing that night made me think or feel was how famous people are just literally nobodies. Just randos, and it’s so weird,” The Male Fantasy singer explained. “I was like, ‘Wow, all these people are just somebody that’s in class with you,’ and you think this person’s kinda annoying, you really like this person, you get along with this person, and everybody’s just, like, embarrassed and insecure about what they’re doing and saying.”

The young singer still had a great time. “It was amazing though. It just was beautiful in there. What’s nice about other people that are in the same kind of world that you’re in is they’re not getting their phone out and shoving it in your face because they don’t want that themselves. And that is really relieving, because that’s my problem with the world, is no matter what’s going on or where you are, there’s just people who shove that phone in your face.”
She’s right. High profile humans are everyday people. My personal philosophy is that everyone is somebody. https://t.co/0f7hUVf1G7

Eilish traded her baggy style for a beautiful peach-colored custom corset Oscar de la Renta tulle gown. Back in May, Eilish explained how she wanted to try something feminine.
“It just was time,” Eilish told Vogue. “It was time for this, and I feel like I’ve grown so much in the last few years. I’ve always wanted to do this. I was just scared and didn’t feel comfortable in my skin and I feel like I finally did.”
https://t.co/Bsp1ycdaYY Love her “realness”. A listers is just a Hollywood term it’s not a life reality. We are A listers in living. lol Look, I love film etc., but people are just people at the end of the day. 😉 #GetReal
