The show was written by Sara Goodman, and had many new faces to the industry seen throughout it. Some of them include Brianne Tju, Ezekiel Goodman, and Madison Iseman.

The show ended with twists and turns. For example, Riley (Ashley Moore) woke up from being unconscious, after everyone thought she was dead. In addition, it was confirmed that Margot (Brianne Tju) and Alison (Madison Iseman) are in a relationship. Things took a bigger turn, revealing Margot to be the killer. Tju confessed to US Weekly that he had a difficult time keeping Margot being the killer a secret.

At least the show ended with twists and turns. Allison (Madison Iseman) discovers that Margot (Brianne Tju) is the killer who’s been hunting down their friends since the night of a car accident. Dylan (Ezekial Goodman) was the presumed killer, but it was far from the truth. In the end, Allison keeps Margot’s secret and told the police that Dylan was the killer. This leads to Dylan getting thrown in jail.

During an interview with Us Weekly, Tju shared how difficult it was the keep the true killer’s identity a secret.

"It was the hardest secret for me to keep. "I believe once we started shooting the last block — episodes seven and eight — that showrunner Sara Goodman told everybody, and then when they were going to know anyway because the episode scripts were coming out. I think everyone kind of had the same reaction of like, 'Oh my God!' But also, 'Oh yeah, that makes sense!' Margot's definitely a little crazy!"
