If you’ve been waiting to hop on the Too Hot to Handle train, now is your chance.

Seasons one and two of the steamy reality show were a huge hit, captivating reality TV lovers with a unique premise and an exceptionally lustful cast. From what the preview reveals, the third season is guaranteed to give us drama, particularly because the stakes are now higher than ever.

The premise remains the same: an adventure-ready group of young, attractive people initially believe they’re on a show where they are free to party and mingle as much as they’d like. However, the reality of their experience turns out to be much different. In a surprising turn of events, a sassy Alexa lookalike named Lana will inform the group that hookups are off-limits, the idea being that when contestants are not hyper-focused on hooking up, they can make room for real, lasting relationships.

But why should they resist temptation? Because anything from smooching to sex will subtract money from their $200,000 shared prize fund.

This envy-inducing number is a whopping $100,000 more than previous seasons were promised (on the condition of good behavior, of course), which will surely up the stakes and increase tensions in the group.

Too Hot to Handle producers unfailingly recruit the most relationship-averse people you can imagine, but by the end of the show, many cast members decide they are ready for genuine intimacy. The character development makes this show more interesting than some of your other relationship-centric reality shows, and it’s all thanks to Lana, the little robot who acts as the show’s host and on-set therapist.

Last season, Lana successfully coached two cast members out of their old ways and into a successful relationship. Emily Miller and Cam Holmes are still together more than a year later. So, will season three beat season two’s record and produce more than one long-lasting relationship? We’ll just have to see.
