The series revolves around a gift-shop employee named Steven Grant. Behind his quiet exterior, he’s battling with multiple personalities and a sleeping disorder. In the comics, Moon Knight is depicted as military veteran Marc Spector. Spector assumes the identity of Moon Knight after a terrorist attacks him. After the attack, he trekked across the desert and made it to a nearby tomb, on the verge of death; he believed the Egyptian god, Khonshu brought him back to life after discovering the state towering over him. Gaining a new perspective, Spector returned to the States as Moon Knight, where he began to tackle crime. In the process of doing so, he created two other personalities: millionaire Steven Grant and taxi driver Jake Lockley.

Oscar Isaac, who plays Steven Grant/Moon Knight, even shared during an interview with CBR how challenging it was the part was.

“I could not wait to get to set, and it was the biggest workload I’ve ever had in my career and most challenging; by the sheer amount of stuff we had to do in eight months, and even yet, I couldn’t wait to get to set and work. I thought there was an incredibly unusual story to tell within the world of, you know, the superhero language.”

Moon Knight hits Disney+ on March 30. You can check out the official trailer down below.
