Euphoria fans were left heartbroken and intrigued after seeing Cal Jacobs’ backstory Sunday night. But who’s the dreamboat that plays the teen version of him?

The handsome fellow in question is none other than actor Elias Kacavas. Not much is known about him other than the fact that he is from Manchester, New Hampshire, and later moved to New York to pursue a BFA in acting at NYU Tisch. The budding star eventually left school after two years to pursue the role that is now getting him so much well-deserved attention. If the last name, brown eyes, and killer bone structure didn’t tip you off, Kacavas is of Greek descent. Not to mention he has an identical twin!

The 15-minute intro of the third Euphoria episode opens the doors to Cal’s backstory. Teenage Cal is in love with his best friend, Derek, but can never be with him because of his disapproving father and newly pregnant girlfriend. Kacavas’ heartbreakingly beautiful portrayal of Euphoria’s second villain during his teen years leaves fans begging for a spin-off with him and his co-star, Henry Eikenberry.

Once the tears were shed and eyes were wiped, the Twitter-sphere went crazy, with viewers gushing over the young actor’s baby face and 90s haircut, which lead Euphoria hairstylist Kim Kimble said was inspired by Matt Damon.

In only 2 days since the newest Euphoria episode was released, the talented young stud has already amassed over 130,000 followers on Instagram where he posted some behind-the-scenes photos of his time on set.

It’s unknown whether we’ll be lucky enough to see young Cal Jacobs in any more flashbacks, but fans can only hope. Regardless, this isn’t the last time you’ll be seeing Elias Kacavas, as he’s set to play the character, Greg, in the HBOMax spin-off of Pretty Little Liars, Pretty Little Liars: Origins. Could the streaming service have found its new “It” boy?
