‘Grown-ish’ is Upping the Shock Factors for the New Episodes of the Last Half of Season 4
Kenya Barris‘s ABC series “Grown-ish” has returned to the screens with all-new episodes to complete season four.
A new episode of the Black-ish spinoff, Grown-ish, aired on Thursday, January 27, 2022, and has already set the tone for the rest of the season.
This season was teased to return on Instagram in November of 2021. Grown-ish season four was initially released on July 8, 2021, dropping only nine episodes. Season four will have 14 episodes meaning we have only five episodes left for this season.
The cast, including Yara Shahidi, Trevor Jackson, Chloe Bailey, Luka Sabbat, Emily Arlook, Jordan Buhat, Francia Raisa, and Diggy Simmons, returns. Halle Bailey is to be shown in video call format as she became an Olympic finalist in the first half of the season.
Episode 10 already starts to increase the drama as lover disagreements heat up, friends begin to get closer than they could ever imagine, friendships are tested, and comfort zones are explored.
This friend group has had more surprises as they touch on many societal problems never seen in the series before. Barris and the rest of the production team upped the level of jaw-droppers with more audience anticipation than before. Love, drama, laughs, and overall coming-of-age experiences will be shown between each character in a new light.
Many are very invested in the new twist on the group. Viewers were live-tweeting and post-watch tweeting their own opinions on these particular situations.
Aaron crying and pouring his heart is doing nothing for me. He did ALL of this to get Zoey just to drop the ball. #Grownish pic.twitter.com/LzYSLkeI90

Luca is laidback but he is very perceptive. He knows Doug still loves Jazz and isn’t really into his sister and doesn’t want his sister hurt. He also knew what Aaron was doing the whole time when he was with Zoey but he let it play out #GrownIsh pic.twitter.com/lJKjXZ5T80

If episode 10 is just the start of the second half of the season, who knows how shocking things can get in the upcoming weeks.
