Pop Star Lizzo Reveals New Song About Self-Love

Pop-Star Lizzo revealed some of her new music expressing the importance of self-love in a TikTok snippet. The video shows Lizzo talking more in-depth about how important it is to always love yourself and to have good moral support around you. She even discusses her main source of support, her mother, who has always been proud of her.

Winning Best Traditional R&B Performance for “Jerome” at the 62nd Grammy Awards, Lizzo is a critically acclaimed artist who is highly praised on social media platforms for being a plus-sized female succeeding in the music industry. Lizzo has always been very open about body positivity, and even how she struggles with it behind the scenes. Lizzo says in a TikTok video, “I think these are normal, it happens to the best of us. We are the best of us.” She then goes on to say, “I just have to know that tomorrow, how I feel ‘in here’ [her mind] is going to change. And I can only hope that it will change for the better.”

On January 26, Lizzo uploaded a snippet of her new song. We have yet to find the name, however, Lizzo showed a video of her in the car with her mom. She captions the video “I’ve always wanted to make my momma proud. Today was her first time hearing my new music. She told me she has ALWAYS been proud of me…” Lizzo goes on to say, ” She always made me feel special. ” Lizzo’s close-knit relationship with her mom inspired and ultimately motivated her to write this song about self-importance and love.
