The British Academy Film Awards (BAFTA) nominations were announced early Thursday morning, with movie fanatics reacting to the acknowledgments and snubs.

Lady Gaga continues on her hot streak from playing Patrizia Reggiani in House of Gucci, being the only actress nominated at the upcoming awards shows: the SAG Awards, BAFTAs, Critics’ Choice Awards, and Golden Globes.

Joining the actress and singer are Alana Haim for Licorice Pizza, Renate Reinsve for Worst Person in the World, Tessa Thompson for Passing, Joanna Scanlan for After Love, and Emilia Jones for Coda. Notably, 19 of the 24 actors nominated celebrate their first nomination at the awards.

Among the Best Film nominations are sci-fi epic Dune and climate change satire Don’t Look Up, with Dune also leading the pack for overall nominations, scoring 11. For Best Animated Film, two Disney pictures, Luca and Encanto, are also up against The Mitchells vs. The Machines and Flee. Flee, the story of a man’s journey as a refugee from Afghanistan in Denmark is also nominated in the Documentary category.

A notable exclusion is that of Kristen Stewart for Leading Actress for her performance as Princess Diana in Spencer, which enjoyed positive critical reception. Denzel Washington and Frances McDormand, usual award circuit favorites, were also snubbed for their performances in the Shakespeare adaptation of The Tragedy of Macbeth. Andrew Garfield was also locked out from a nomination for his portrayal of Jonathan Larson in Tick Tick…Boom!.

The BAFTAs will be held on Mar. 13. For a complete list of nominations, visit the BAFTA’s website.
