Brie Larson and Jeremy Renner to Star in Their Own Disney+ Docu-Series
Disney+ released the exciting news of two new docu-series: Brie Larson’s Growing Up and Jeremy Renner’s Rennervations.

Brie Larson (or as some know her, Captain Marvel) will executive produce and direct her new series entitled Growing Up. According to the show’s synopsis, Larson’s docu-series is a “groundbreaking hybrid docu-series that explores the challenges, triumphs, and complexities of adolescence through ten compelling coming of age stories.”
Disney+ also mentioned, “The series uses narrative, experimental, and documentary filmmaking to follow one casted individual […].They represent a wide range of lived experiences, […] that offer an engaging look at teenage-hood and the diverse social, familial, and internal obstacles young people face[…].”

Nicole Galovski, Raeshem Nijhon, and Carrie Twigg will also be executive producers for Growing Up alongside guest directors Yara Shahidi, Sydney Freeland, and many more.
But Brie Larson isn’t the only spectacular news Disney+ has released about their formal Marvel characters. Hawkeye‘s Jeremy Renner will also continue his Disney acting by starring in a new docs-series, Rennervations.

Renner’s new series Rennervations is “a four-part series that embraces Renner’s lifelong passion for giving back to communities around the world by reimagining unique purpose-built vehicles to meet a community’s needs.”
Renner will also be an executive producer of the show, alongside Rory Millikin, Romilda De Luca, Andrew Fried, Dane Lillegard, Sarina Roma, and Patrick Costello.

Fans are super excited to see their favorite Marvel actors in a new setting. Both docs-series shed a light on helping communities and coming-of-age. Larson and Renner are truly superheroes on and off the screen.
Unfortunately, the release date for Growing Up and Rennervations has yet to be announced, but they will be streamed exclusively on Disney+ so be sure to look out for new updates.
