Billie Eilish Shows Love to Fan, Pausing Concert for Inhaler
Grammy-winning singer, Billie Eilish, stopped in the middle of her set Saturday night after seeing a fan struggling to breathe.
While in her Atlanta stop for her Happier Than Ever World Tour, Eilish was alerted to a struggling fan in the audience. She quickly stopped what she was doing to bring her attention to the scene where she was recorded asking the fan, “You need an inhaler?” After the concert-goer said yes, the now Oscar-nominated singer didn’t miss a beat as she told her security to locate an inhaler.

Before the show went on, the “Bad Guy” songstress went on to tell fans, “I wait for people to be okay before I keep going.” which caused the crowd to erupt in cheers. Fans and Twitter users have taken this statement as the singer throwing shade at Travis Scott after the infamous Astrofest disaster.
The diss was met with mixed reviews on Twitter, some thinking that the singer’s words were completely warranted and others feeling it was a cheap shot.
She’s not throwing shade, she’s just a good person.

She really didn’t need to make that statement. I think the whole world knows how tragic of a situation that was. She didn’t have to use her consideration of a fan as some sort of win; that actually makes her gesture seem really disingenuous.

This is the “Copycat” singer’s first tour after her Where Do We Go? World Tour had to be postponed due to Covid. The setlist is filled with her most popular songs like “Bury a Friend” and some fan favorites like “Bored.” It’s been a long time coming and Eilish isn’t letting anything stop her.
