Graduate and Grammy-winning artist Megan Thee Stallion gives back on her 27th birthday by founding a charity of her very own.

On February 15th, the rapper took to Instagram to announce the creation of the Pete and Thomas Foundation — a nonprofit dedicated to providing assistance to underserved individuals throughout Houston (her hometown) and beyond.

Named after her late parents Joseph Pete Jr. and Holly Thomas, the foundation pays tribute to their devotion to others and the community at large. “My parents raised me to help others and give back,” Megan wrote on Instagram, “and I’m incredibly proud to launch this foundation in their memory.”

The organization’s primary areas of focus are education, housing, and health and wellness. P&T’s education services consist of providing scholarships, school supplies, and general resources for children attending schools in high-need areas.

Next, P&T’s housing sector will work to address the housing problems “senior citizens, single mothers and families impacted by financial emergencies and natural disasters” face on a daily basis.

Finally, P&T’s area of health and wellness will offer support in the fields of “cancer care, mental health, and food insecurity.”

“I really wanted to make my mom proud, I really wanted to make my grandma proud, [I] really wanted to make myself proud” the philanthropist shared in the video’s voice-over. And she’s doing just that.

With one spot on TIME’s 100 Most Influential People list, two global record breaking hits, three Grammy awards, and nine BET awards, this hot girl has already achieved more than most do in an entire lifetime.

Now with a nonprofit to her name, she’s practically unstoppable.
