Sydney Sweeney Stuns for Her Late Late Show Debut
Sydney Sweeney left viewers of The Late Late Show in awe after she sat down with James Corden in her first ever, late night TV show appearance on January 26.
The blonde bombshell sported a black and white bodycon midi dress from the Cristian Siriano Pre-Fall 2022 collection. On the bodice of the dress was a bra-top, which featured triangular cutouts. This stunning piece was then paired with some elegant jewelry from David Yurman and a simple, but classic pair of black pumps.
This look was very reminiscent of Sweeney’s look from the 2021 People’s Choice Awards in which she wore the same color scheme only with a white bow on the top and a black bottom.
During the interview, Sydney, who plays Cassie on the hit show Euphoria, discussed what her character was going through as well as explained the thought processes behind her character’s decisions. She went on to tell Corden, “She is definitely looking for affirmation and love from other people other than herself.”
It was during the same interview when Sydney revealed she had to show up to the Euphoria wrap party high on morphine after a stint in the ER because of a broken toe. “My toe got stepped on during filming, and it just exploded,” Sweeney told Corden.
The Euphoria actress hinted that the culprit of this broken toe fiasco could be none other than a co-star, Alexa Demie, who plays fan favorite, Maddy Perez. “In one of the episodes, a character that’s very upset with Cassie right now accidentally stepped on me,” she went on to say.
When James simply guessed by saying “The girl?” Sweeny coyly confirmed it was in fact Demie. This sent fans of the show into a frenzy of anticipation, waiting for a potential altercation between the two characters.
