Megan Thee Stallion Receives Love From Fans During Difficult Time
Megan Thee Stallion is receiving an outpouring of support from her fans as she handles the aftermath of being shot in the foot in July 2020.
Details of the case have been unfolding as Tory Lanez’s court date approaches. The shooting occurred after an event in Hollywood Hills on July 12, 2020, when Megan, whose real name is Megan Pete, exited an SUV she was riding in with rapper Tory Lanez.

Initially, the Grammy-winning rapper said she had been cut by glass, while later revealing that she had actually been shot. Pete stated, “I didn’t tell the police nothing, because I didn’t want us to get in no more trouble than we was about to get in.” Her reluctance to share information with the police is understandable given the reality of police brutality, especially in summer 2020, after the murder of George Floyd sparked international protests.

In December, Pete revealed that Lanez shouted, “Dance b-tch,” as he fired the gun after she demanded to get out of the car, according to Los Angeles Police Department Detective Ryan Stogner. Lanez has been charged with assault with a firearm and carrying an unregistered loaded gun in a vehicle.

The “news” they share is like the lottery, you have to roll the dice to hope that it’s true.
From lying on Megan Thee Stallion to saying Queen Elizabeth is dead, it’s been JOURNALISTS having to FACT-CHECK them.
Pete went to Instagram after a blogger tweeted misinformation about the case. She stated, “Court ain’t even started so why yall ready to start lying,” after people started to spread the post.
the megan thee stallion situation is a prime example of how quickly a black woman will be attacked and criticized just for defending herself and it’s sad to see

If convicted, Lanez faces up to 23 years in prison. As the trial goes on, we hope Megan finds peace and healing after this traumatic event.
