Barbie Launches New Pat McGrath Doll for International Women’s Day
In honor of International Women’s Day, Barbie will release a new doll on March 8 featuring talented makeup artist Pat McGrath. The makeup artist turned her makeup line into a billion-dollar business and has been an inspiration for all.
For over 25 years, McGrath has influenced so many people that transformed the beauty and fashion industry globally. She has been honored by the Council of Fashion Designers of America (CFDA) and the British Fashion Council (BFC) for services in the Fashion and Beauty industry and Diversity. She’s pushed boundaries in the beauty industry across the whole world.
The McGrath-inspired doll will be joining the Barbie Role Model collection. Barbie creates a collection just for talented changemakers, entrepreneurs in STEM, education, and more. The other honorees include fashion designer Lan Yu, professional athlete Naomi Osaka, and content creator Lena Mahfouf. All of the dolls look like their stunning inspirations, and we’re happy to see McGrath’s doll joining the collection.

The McGrath doll features her signature black backstage uniform and makeup bag; she’s a stunning doppelgänger. Her signature, glamorous makeup, and sleek headband are the perfect touches. In addition, she has decided to name the doll “Dame Pat McGrath.” “It is an honour having a Barbie in my likeness and I would be so happy if it in any way inspires anyone to follow their dreams and believe that with hard work, creativity, and perseverance, everything is possible”, stated McGrath in a statement.
