The supermodel, 26, wrote on Instagram of her donation and continuous support for Palestine: “I am pledging to donate my earnings from the Fall 2022 shows to aid those suffering from the war in Ukraine, as well as continuing to support those experiencing the same in Palestine.”

While Hadid can’t control her work, she does have control over her money and wants to use her money for good. “Having a set Fashion Month schedule has meant that my colleagues and I often present new fashion collections during heartbreaking and traumatic times in history. We don’t have control over most of our work schedules, but we would like to walk ‘for’ something.”

Hadid’s heart goes out to the Ukrainians suffering. “Our eyes and hearts must be open to all human injustice. May we all see each other as brothers and sisters, beyond politics, beyond race, beyond religion. At the end of the day, innocent lives pay for war- not leaders,” she wrote. “HANDS OFF UKRAINE. HANDS OFF PALESTINE. PEACE. PEACE. PEACE. 🕊”

Hadid isn’t the only celebrity to donate money to the Ukrainian crisis. Fellow models Mica Argañaraz and Kaia Gerber have donated a portion of their salary to the crisis.  That ‘70s Show couple, Ashton Kutcher and Mila Kunis launched a fundraiser that has raised over 15 million dollars. In addition, Free Guy star Ryan Reynolds and Gossip Girl alumni, Blake Lively raised over 1 million dollars for the cause. Fans can follow Hadid’s Instagram account for more updates.
