Mila Kunis and Ashton Kutcher have raised more than 15 million dollars for Ukrainian relief. With a goal of 30 million dollars, Kunis took to social media to update fans on the status of their charity.

“We just wanted to give you a quick update as to where we stand with the fundraising. We’re halfway through. We’re super-excited, and we want to say thank you to each and every single one of you. It’s been an incredible past 48 hours.”

Many people have donated to this cause. Kunis and Kutcher matched the funds, donating 3 million dollars. Not only did the couple donate, but Legally Blonde actress Reese Witherspoon did as well. The fundraiser was created on Friday on GoFundMe.

Born as Milena Markovna Kunis, the Black Swan actress hasn’t forgotten her Ukrainian roots, posting on the fundraiser’s website: “Today, I am a proud Ukrainian. While my family came to the United States in 1991, I was born in Chernivtsi, Ukraine, in 1983. Ukrainians are proud and brave people who deserve our help in their time of need. This unjust attack on Ukraine and humanity at large is devastating, and the Ukrainian people need our support.”

According to the organization, Kunis and Kutcher’s fundraiser will provide humanitarian aid to Ukrainian refugees. The money will be allocated to provide transportation and housing for over 100,000 refugees.

Kunis and Kutcher are among many celebrities donating money to this cause. Supermodel Gigi Hadid will be donating her Fashion Week salary to the cause. Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively have raised over 1 million dollars. Fans can visit the couple’s GoFundMe page to contribute to their fundraiser.
