Bella Hadid Joins Gigi in Spreading Love to Ukraine With Fashion Week Donations
Bella Hadid is following her older sister, Gigi’s lead, by donating her Fashion Week salary to Ukrainian relief. With the death toll rising in Ukraine, the supermodel took to Instagram to make this announcement.
“To watch my Ukrainian friends and colleagues working hard here in Europe, so close but so far from their families/friends/homes in Ukraine who are experiencing one of many brutal occupations and invasions happening right now in the world is a very emotional and humbling experience for me,” Hadid stated.
Bella Hadid announced that she’ll also be donating her entire fall 2022 Fashion week earnings to organizations that are providing help

Hadid explained how the horror stories have shown her how strong people are. Her heart aches for the people enduring this tragedy. “We rarely have control of our work schedules, and this week has really shown me the strength and perseverance of the people around me who are going through pure terror. To hear their stories and emotions firsthand is devastating, and I wholeheartedly stand with them in support. I stand alongside every person that has been affected by this war and the innocent people whose lives have been changed forever from the hands of “power”.”

In addition, Hadid pledged to help not only Ukraine but also Palestine. “Taking after Mica [Argañaraz] and My amazing Sis, I will be donating all of my earnings from this Fashion Week directly to organizations that are providing help, refuge and medical aid to those in need on the ground in Ukraine, as well as continuing to support our Palestinian people and land.”
Both Hadid sisters aren’t the only ones who’ve donated to Ukraine. Mica Argañaraz donated a portion of her salary to Ukrainian aid. That ‘70 Show alumni Mila Kunis and Ashton Kutcher jumpstarted a GoFundMe page that has raised over 21 million dollars. Green Lantern stars Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively matched donations, giving 1 million dollars to UNHCR which provides assistants to Ukrainian refugees.
