The New Season 3 Trailer of Derry Girls Has Dropped
As a special Saint Paddy’s Day present, Channel 4 released the trailer for the highly anticipated third season of Derry Girls.
In a tweet on Thursday, Channel 4 wrote, “The wait is over… they’re back! #DerryGirls, coming soon to Channel 4.” They then included the one-minute, belly laugh-inducing trailer.

The Irish hit show first made a splash when it premiered in 2018. Immediately, people were enthralled with 90s nostalgia and hilarious yet heartfelt storylines.
The announcement of the new season has been a long time coming as production seemed to go on hiatus due to the pandemic. While fans are ecstatic to see our favorite characters back on our screens, there is a bittersweet feeling because it’s the final season.

Sadness aside, this won’t be the last you see of the Derry Girls actors. Saoirse-Monica Jackson is set to star in The Flash in 2023, and Nicola Mary Coughlan stars in the popular show, Bridgerton.
The entire third season must conclude in its entirety before being added to Netflix. There has been no release date for when the third season will begin, but you can refresh your memory by watching the first two seasons on the streaming service.
