In a new tweet via The Batman Twitter account, fans were surprised with a deleted scene from The Batman. However, in true Riddler fashion, fans were put to work solving clues to get access to the scene.

The Joker is played by Marvel actor Barry Keoghan. Moviegoers got their first glimpse at his portrayal of the iconic character in a small scene with the Riddler. With so many talented men who have played the Joker, Keoghan has big shoes to fill. Yet, this sneak peek of his performance is enough to land the support of all the comic book buffs.

The Dublin native took to Twitter to express his gratitude and excitement for his role in the project. He is known for his roles in Eternals and Dunkirk. Additionally, he is set to star in the film The Banshees of Inisherin, set to be released on Oct. 21.

The Batman made over $500 million worldwide, and this success almost guarantees another installment in the Matt Reeves Batman saga. We can only assume that we’ll be able to see more of Keoghan’s Joker in the next film.
