Anne Hathaway’s Avatar in WeCrashed Inspired Makeup Goes Viral
Anne Hathaway’s character transformations always wow the audience, and now her makeup in the newest episode of WeCrashed did not disappoint us. Hathaway’s makeup mirrors the look of Neytiri from the movie, Avatar.
WeCrashed features actor Jared Leto as the CEO of WeWork, Adam Neumann. Hathaway plays Rebekah Neumann, wife of Adam Neumann. WeCrashed showcases the infamous story of the rise and fall of WeWork, a billion-dollar company that built communal workspaces.
The newest episode introduces America Ferrera’s character, Elishia Kennedy, who meets Rebekah Neumann (Hathaway). Kennedy and Neumann dress head to toe in extra Halloween costumes at a party in their children’s school. Neumann dresses up as one of the Na’vi people from Avatar and Kennedy as a mummy.
On March 26, the Ocean’s 8 actress uploaded an incredible selfie of her makeup on Instagram. She looks almost unrecognizable in her selfie, and we’re all here for it. The post features Hathaway’s blue face paint, white dots, and stripes across her face. The makeup artists went full out and even added beads, feathers, and braids into her hair. According to Hathaway, the makeup “took weeks to take off.”
Fans were quick to comment on Hathaway’s new Instagram post. “You’re in Avatar 2?” and “this is so random, I love it.” Rumors have now popped up amongst fans. Would Hathaway be an addition to the cast of Avatar 2?
