Céline Dion, the legendary Canadian singer, is starring in a romantic drama titled It’s All Coming Back to Me. The film is slated for a theater release on February 10, 2023.

It’s All Coming Back to Me, originally titled “Text for You,” will be based on the 2016 German film SMS für Dich, which translates to “Text for You” by Karoline Herfurth. The fitting name change derives from Jim Steinman’s ballad of the same name. Dion would popularize the iconic ballad when it appeared on her fourth studio album, Falling into You, in 1996. The cover would go on to become one of Dion’s greatest hits in her discography.

The film has a stellar cast, including Priyanka Chopra-Jonas stepping into the lead role. Chopra-Jonas is cast as a woman who is struggling to pick up the pieces following the death of her fiancé. As a coping mechanism, she begins sending messages to his old phone number, which has been given to a new man, played by Sam Heughan (Outlander). The pair will ultimately develop a connection after their mutual heartbreak.

In addition to Chopra-Jonas and Heughan boarding the film, Céline Dion will also play a major role. Dion will star as herself, serving as a mentor who will inspire Chopra-Jonas and Heughan to fall in love. The singer’s iconic music will also be featured throughout the film. In more exciting news, Heughan shared that the singer recorded a new song for fans to hear and subsequently fall in love with.

It’s All Coming Back to Me is written and directed by Jim Strouse. The film is produced by Screen Gems and is distributed by Sony Pictures. Dion will serve as an executive producer alongside Doug Belgrad, Sophie Cassidy, Louise Killin, and Jonathan Fuhrman. Other producers for the film include Basil Iwanyk, Erica Lee, and Esther Hornstein. It’s All Coming Back to Me features a supporting cast that includes Russell Tovey, Steve Oram, Omid Djalili, Sofia Barclay, Lydia West, Arinzé Kene, and Celia Imrie.

We cannot be more excited to see this romantic drama unfold. Fans can stream Céline Dion’s music on all major music platforms.
