Marvel Studio Releases New Trailer and Poster for Thor: Love and Thunder
It is the time we’ve all been waiting for. Marvel Studio had released a new trailer and poster for Thor: Love and Thunder.
In Taika Waititi’s second film of the franchise, Thor fights against his new adversary: galactic killer Gorr the God Butcher (Christian Bale). Having embarked on a journey of soul searching following the events of Avengers: End Game, Chris Hemsworth’s Thor has seemingly matured. He recruits King Valkyrie (Tessa Thompson), Korg (Taika Waititi), and Jane Foster (Natalie Portman) to help him defeat Gorr. Upon reuniting with his ex-girlfriend, Thor was surprised to discover she had gained the ability to wield his weapon, Mjolnir. The team travels the great cosmo to uncover the true motive behind Gorr’s genocidal mission and stop him.

One version of the poster shows Thor holding his weapon, Stormbreaker, standing upon a mountain with lightning sparking behind. The text below the figure reads: “The one and only”. Natalie Portman took to her Instagram and uploaded a second version of the poster, with Jane Foster as the Mighty Thor, in the same setting holding up Mjolnir. This time the text reads: “The one is not the only”.
