Companies like Linkedin, Twitter, and HBO Max sponsored the festive event and panels. The panels included stars like Kandi Burrus, Omerreta, Jayda Cheaves, Saucy Santana, Jay Ellis , and host Kat Graham.

Each company set up a pop up shop to give away cool gadgets and give out information about their companies. There was also a large amount of small Black owned business in attendance for the event to sell and showcase their products.

Former Georgia State Representative Stacey Abrams was also in attendance to talk about the importance of voting in the upcoming elections.

“Voting is critical the decisions we make in the next couple of years could effect future generations. We are making choices about housing, reproductive choice, voting, but also about the ability to shape your future “, stated Abrams.

CultureCon is usually hosted in New York, but decided to do a pop-up in Atlanta due to popular demand. Creatives traveled from Texas, Florida, and surrounding areas just to embrace the Black excellence at the conference.

Yrbenka Arthus does Creator Programming for Linkedin and was so excited just to be there.
“I came to celebrate Black creativity and build community,” stated Arthus.

Founder of CultureCon Imani Ellis was so relieved to see her vision prosper. She created CultureCon because she felt like there was no space for Black people to thrive and network as creatives.

“I think having a dream in your heart and seeing it in real life feels unreal. This was such a team effort. All of these departments came together to create something so beautiful”, stated Ellis.

If you did not get a chance to witness this CultureCon, there would be two more in Los Angeles June 16-18 and New York October 3-8. The Los Angeles event will be a pop-up weekend filled with networking and socials, and the New York event will be a week event full of panels.

The panels and pop-up shops were not the only best part of the day. The fashion was over the top, raw, and authentically original. Below you will find the best looks for CultureCon Atlanta 2022.
