Jack Antonoff Reveals Star-Studded Musicians on New Minions: The Rise of Gru Soundtrack

Get ready for the GRU-viest soundtrack to grace your ears and your television screens. Grammy award-winning producer Jack Antonoff unveiled the soundtrack to Minions: The Rise of Gru on May 10.

The Minions: The Rise of Gru soundtrack will contain a whopping 19 songs. The tracks are Antonoff’s favorite songs from the 70s era performed by his favorite artists of today. He writes, “Cannot wait to start sharing these songs. Starting May 20th, they’re gonna be coming out here and there and then full soundtrack July 1st.”

Apart from the cover’s soundtrack, Antonoff revealed that he co-wrote a special original song with Sam Dew, Patrik Berger, and Kevin Parker titled “Turn Up The Sunshine.” The track will be performed by the legendary Diana Ross and Tame Impala.

In addition to this unexpected project, Antonoff announced the songs the high-profile musicians would be covering. Here is the epic soundtrack:
