Halsey Releases New Song ‘So Good’
Halsey is back with new music. The “Darling” singer released the track “So Good” on June 9.
Halsey’s latest single has finally arrived after a great deal of traction from her label. The musician-turned-makeup mogul began their post on Tik Tok on May 22, stating, “I’ve been in this industry for 8 years, and I’ve sold over 165 million records. My record company is saying that I can’t release it unless they can fake a viral moment on TikTok.” The singer continues, “Everything is marketing and they are doing this to basically every artist these days. I just wanna release music, man and I deserve better tbh. I’m tired.”

After sharing their side of the story, Halsey was met with backlash and accused of making this ordeal up. The singer took the high road, writing on Twitter, “I’ve been minding my own business on tour taking care of my baby. Four albums deep. Coasting. I’m way too established to stir something like this up for no reason or resort to this as a marketing tactic but now I’m in too deep so there’s no going back.”

Finally, after a whirlwind couple of weeks, Capitol sent out a tweet voicing their support for Halsey and their music. The label committed to a release date: June 9.

The singer was understandably elated by the news. We are so happy for Halsey and their beautiful new single.
