Starring Daniel Radcliffe and Evan Rachel Wood, Weird: The Al Yankovic Story follows the life and career of American musician “Weird Al” Yankovic. After the success of his songs such as “Eat It” and “Like a Surgeon,” we see Yankovic chase his dreams while pursuing an excessive lifestyle and an infamous relationship that nearly destroys him. Co-written by Yankovic himself and produced by Funny or Die and Tango, Weird: The Al Yankovic Story is set to be released this fall on Roku.

Brunson is the most recent cast member to be announced for the upcoming film. The news comes a week after the 32-year-old actress made history by becoming the first Black woman to earn three Emmy nominations in the comedy category for her series, Abbott Elementary

The other cast members that have been announced are Evan Rachel Wood starring as Madonna, Rainn Wilson as Dr. Demento, and Julianne Nicholson as Mary Yankovic. Harry Potter’s Daniel Radcliffe will be portraying “Weird Al” Yankovic.
