Post Malone Drops New Music Video to ‘I Like You (A Happier Song)’ Featuring a Special Guest

RCA Records

The music video for Post Malone’s “I Like You (A Happier Song)” has arrived. The “Rockstar” singer collaborated with special guest Doja Cat on his upbeat summer track.

On July 25, Post Malone and Doja Cat created beautiful explosions of color in just three minutes and seventeen seconds. The rapper embodies the role of an artist consumed by his muse, played by Doja Cat. Post paints his muse in various settings, beginning in a home. By one minute into the track, the video transports viewers into a picturesque flowering field as Doja frolics around the greenery.

After three years, Post Malone delivered on his fourth studio album, Twelve Carat Toothache. The 14-track record featured collaborations with Roddy Ricch, Doja Cat, Gunna, Fleet Foxes, The Kid Laroi, and The Weeknd. “I Like You (A Happier Song)” ft. Doja Cat is track 5. Post claims that he felt “so blessed and honored to have worked with her.”

Post shared a special message with fans regarding his latest music. He ends on an inspiring note, stating, “There’s so much going on and I just want to say spread love to everybody that you know, spread love to everybody that you meet. Take that extra time out of your day because it makes a difference to someone else. You’re not alone. No matter what you’re going through, you’re not alone and there are people there. Reach out if you need help. Take care of yourself. I love you.”

“I Like You (A Happier Song)” celebrates Post Malone and Doja Cat’s close bond with one another. The stunning visual is available to watch above. Fans can stream Twelve Carat Toothache on all major music platforms.
