The New Do Revenge Trailer Is Here
Camila Mendes and Maya Hawke are teaming up to do some serious damage in their upcoming Netflix film, Do Revenge.
On August 9, Netflix dropped the official trailer to Do Revenge. The film is described as a “subverted Hitchcock-ian dark comedy featuring the scariest protagonists of all: teenage girls.” Jennifer Kaytin Robinson directs the film that stars Camila Mendes (Riverdale) and Maya Hawke (Stranger Things).
Do Revenge opens with It-girl Drea Torres (Mendes) telling viewers that she spent “17 years meticulously curating the perfect life.” For teenage girls, popularity is everything. Drea, the Queen Bee, has the best of everything, including the most perfect friends and boyfriend, Max (Austin Abrams). When Max leaks Drea’s sex tape and destroys her life, Drea vows that “he won’t get away with this.”

Eleanor (Hawke) tells Drea that she knows what it is like to get her life turned upside down. Eleanor reveals that Carissa Jones (Ava Capri) spread a horrific rumor about her, leaving her as the school’s predator. After both girls have been betrayed, Drea decides that the two should team up and “do each other’s revenge.”

Apart from Camila Mendes and Maya Hawke, Do Revenge features a supporting cast that includes Alisha Boe (13 Reasons Why), Austin Abrams (Euphoria), Rish Shah (Ms. Marvel), Talia Ryder (West Side Story), Ava Capri (Embattled), Jonathan Davis (Outer Banks), Maia Reficco (Pretty Little Liars: Original Sin), and Paris Berelc (Lab Rats: Elite Force). In addition to this stellar cast, Game of Thrones alum Sophie Turner also pops up on the silver screen.

Here at Glitter, we cannot be more excited about this dark comedy. Do Revenge arrives on Netflix on September 16.
