It’s time to take a journey. Luca Guadagnino’s film Bones and All has dropped its first trailer.

On August 10, the internet went into a frenzy when Timothée Chalamet took to social media to promote his latest film. Bones and All reunites Chalamet with Guadagnino, who made the 2017 film Call Me By Your Name, earning the young actor his first Oscar nomination.

Bones and All is based on the novel of the same name by Camille DeAngelis. David Kajganich (Suspiria), a frequent collaborator of Guadagnino’s, penned the script. Bones and All follows cannibal lovers Maren (Taylor Russell) and Lee (Chalamet) as they road trip across America.”

Apart from Chalamet and Russell, the stacked cast features Michael Stuhlbarg (Call Me By Your Name), André Holland (Moonlight), Chloë Sevigny (The Girl from Plainville), David Gordon-Green (The Pineapple Express), Jessica Harper (Suspiria), Jake Horowitz (The Vast of Night), and Mark Rylance (Don’t Look Up).

Guadagnino released a statement discussing his film, stating, “There is something about the disenfranchised, about people living on the margins of society, that I am drawn toward and touched by. I want to see where the possibilities lie for them, enmeshed within the impossibility they face. The movie is for me a meditation on who I am and how I can overcome what I feel, especially if it is something I cannot control in myself. And lastly, and most importantly, when will I be able to find myself in the gaze of the other?”

Bones and All will arrive in theaters on November 23. In the meantime, fans can watch the trailer above.
