Millie Bobby Brown’s New Adventure – Attending College
In a recent interview with Allure, Millie Bobby Brown announced that she is attending Purdue University in West Lafayette, Indiana as an online college student.
Millie Bobby Brown will be studying human services, which is Purdue’s program “designed to provide students with basic knowledge of human development and family studies.” Brown is most likely enrolled in Purdue Global, the university’s online system. The two-time Emmy-nominated actress told Allure that the human services program is where students “learn about the system and how to help young people.”
Besides being an actress on one of Netflix’s most popular shows, Stranger Things, the young star has many projects going for her as well. In 2019, Brown launched her own skincare line designed for younger consumers titled Florence by Mills, which gained popularity from her Gen-Z fanbase. The 18-year-old actress is also a Goodwill Ambassador for UNICEF, where she focuses on promoting menstrual health and education for young women.
“Ultimately, all I wanted to do within my career is help young girls and young people out there,” Brown tells Allure. “Young girls deserve an education. Young people everywhere deserve equal rights. You deserve to love the people that you want to love. Be the people that you want to be and achieve the dreams you want to achieve. That’s my message.”
