Dolly Parton Unveils New Puppy Collection ‘Doggy Parton’
Dolly Parton has always had that puppy love. The country icon unveils her latest endeavor: Doggy Parton.
Dolly Parton, the woman behind hit songs “Jolene,” “I Will Always Love You,” and many more is celebrating a full circle moment. In 1959, she released her debut single, “Puppy Love” with Goldband Records when she was just thirteen. The single, released over six decades ago, remains a beloved track for the singer and animal lover.
On August 31, she posted an Instagram video, stating, “My love for pets is stronger than ever. This inspired me to start my own line of Doggy Parton apparel, accessories, toys, and more with a little ‘Dolly’ flair.”
Doggy Parton has all the Dolly flair, sporting a whopping 20-piece collection. The pet line includes an overalls dress, a Western collared shirt, a bandana, collar and leash set, and a harness — to cowgirl attire, squeaky toys, and a “blonde bombshell” wig.”
Billy The Kid, Dolly’s god-dog and brand ambassador, looked adorable in the blonde bombshell wig. Parton is seen in the video blowdrying the Frenchie’s blonde wig as “I Will Always Love You” plays in the background.
Billy The Kid belongs to Dolly’s longtime manager, Danny Nozell. He reveals that “the superstar and canine have an unbreakable bond forged from the first time they met.”
Dolly Parton’s “Doggy Parton” collection is donating proceeds that will go to Willa B. Farms, a Nashville-based animal rescue organization, “where animals in need find never-ending love.” Be sure to secure a cute piece from the pet line for your furry friends.
