Fans may know Emma Chamberlain as one of Gen-Z’s favorite YouTubers, who rose to fame in 2017. However, the social media mogul wears many hats. Her podcast, Anything Goes with Emma Chamberlain, formerly titled Stupid Genius, has been charting since its start in 2019. In 2020, she founded Chamberlain Coffee. In recent years, Chamberlain has become a fashion icon for her audience and attended the two most recent Met Galas. Now, she is adding ‘homeowner’ to that list.

At twenty-one, Chamberlain has just moved into her first home, designed with the help of Ashley Droest and Marie Trohman of Proem Studios. In a new interview with Architectural Digest, she gave all the details on how she captured her essence in every corner of the space. The Los Angeles residence was built in the 1950s, and Chamberlain has completely renovated it to make it her own. Filling it with original art, eclectic furniture, and tons of light, the influencer described the house design as “taking a mixture of everything that I love from any era.”

Chamberlain starts her video tour by walking through her first of three living rooms. This formal living room is adorned with art pieces done by her father, painter Michael Chamberlain, and tables full of books. In addition to the artwork, Chamberlain also has other original art, including a painting of the peanut butter aisle in the grocery store.

There are several seating options in the room, and Chamberlain mentions how her friends often sit in there to read. Her other two living rooms are more focused on hanging out rather than harvesting academic energy.

Next, the Youtube sensation toured her kitchen, dining room, and bar area. First, Chamberlain gestures to her dining room table, which she explains she has not used yet. Hanging above the large table is a neon blue chain-link Truing chandelier that she points out with pride. The brand-new kitchen is comprised of sage green cabinets, unique marble countertops, and a special coffee corner. The corner of her space includes an espresso machine adorned with Chamberlain Coffee magnets, a perfect fit for a coffee company CEO.

The floor plan in the home is relatively open, and the bar area is right off the kitchen. Chamberlain points out that she is freshly twenty-one years old when showing off her drink station. A copper countertop covers the bar itself, and the star stated that it shows the “memory of parties past” with its stains.

Perhaps one of the most anticipated rooms of Chamberlain’s fans is her closet. She takes viewers into her “dressing room” during the tour. Her hybrid closet-glam room-nail studio is an entire room devoted to her style. One wall includes shelves that reach the ceiling filled with shoes, a large Ultrafragola mirror, and an entire rack of sweater vests (one of her wardrobe staples). Then, Chamberlain shows off her bedroom, which doubles as a podcast studio. She does not spend a lot of time in this room- but makes sure to include the tiger blanket on her bed inspired by her favorite movie, Napoleon Dynamite.

Lastly, Chamberlain walks AD through her pool area and poolside rooms. Some special things to spice up her outdoor space are poolside tables shaped like corn and a permanent beer-pong table. Right off of her pool and yard is a bathroom that is designed to look like the interior of a sailboat. Wood paneling lines the walls, and blue tile brightens a large shower to bring that idea to life.

Chamberlain states earlier in her interview how “every room [in her home] has a different feel,” and that is clearly apparent while watching her tour. The new home is an original space and lets her fans get to know more about her in a perfectly personal way.

Emma Chamberlain’s interview will be a part of Architectural Digest‘s November issue, and you can find the video that accompanies her interview below. For fans eager to get a taste of Chamberlain’s delightful coffee grounds, you can visit her website here.
