The White Lotus Releases New Trailer for Season 2
The highly anticipated trailer for Mike White’s dark comedy, The White Lotus, is here. The series is switching gears, leaving Hawaii behind in Season 1 and vacationing in Sicily this upcoming season.
The trailer begins with wise words from Tanya McQuoid, embodied by the iconic Jennifer Coolidge. She states, “Whenever I stay at a White Lotus, I always have a memorable time. Always.” Tanya is ready for more this season, returning with her new husband, Greg (Jon Gries). Coolidge and Gries are the only returning cast members from Season 1.
The White Lotus Season 1 starred Murray Bartlett, Connie Britton, Jennifer Coolidge, Alexandra Daddario, Lukas Gage, Fred Hechinger, Jake Lacy, Brittany O’Grady, Natasha Rothwell, Sydney Sweeney, and Steve Zahn.
The six-episode series received critical acclaim, winning ten out of a whopping twenty nominations at the Emmys. The White Lotus was awarded Outstanding Limited or Anthology Series, garnering the most wins of any program this year. Coolidge won her first Emmy for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Limited or Anthology Series or Movie.
In addition to Coolidge’s exciting return, audiences saw new faces at the resort. Parks & Rec alum Aubrey Plaza joins the series as the newly wealthy Harper Spiller. Plaza’s character is on vacation with her husband, Ethan (Will Sharpe), and his friends. The Sopranos actor Michael Imperioli and Unpregnant actress Haley Lu Richardson were also spotted in the trailer.
Season 2 features F. Murray Abraham, Adam DiMarco, Beatrice Grannò, Meghann Fahy, Tom Hollander, Sabrina Impacciatore, Michael Imperioli, Theo James, Haley Lu Richardson, Will Sharpe, Simona Tabasco, and Leo Wood.

The White Lotus Sicily resort promises to be an eventful ride. The seven-episode series debuts Sunday, October 30 at 9 P.M. ET/PT on HBO and will be available to stream on HBO Max.
