Selena Gomez Releases New Song Ahead of Her Documentary My Mind & Me
Selena Gomez announced that she is releasing a new single ahead of her documentary premiere on Apple TV+. The track is titled “My Mind & Me,” the same name as her upcoming film.
Gomez announced the project and partnership with Apple TV+ on September 8. The description of Selena Gomez: My Mind & Me reads, “this uniquely raw and intimate documentary spans her six-year journey into a new light.”
The documentary will detail Gomez’s life growing up in the entertainment industry and her rise to stardom. The film will go into depth about her struggles with her physical and mental health. Fans will finally glimpse Selena Gomez’s mind through her hardships, achievements, and perseverance. Alek Keshishian, the director of Madonna: Truth or Dare, will direct and produce the film.
Apple TV+ released an official trailer for the documentary on October 10. The trailer features clips of Gomez growing up, her music, her lupus diagnosis, and her plan to use her story to help others. Gomez aims to use her film to raise awareness for mental health, which she has made a priority in recent years.

Gomez’s new song, “My Mind & Me,” releases on November 3 at 5 a.m. PT/ 8 a.m. ET/ noon. The new track is available to pre-save now on all major streaming platforms.
