Aly and AJ Release New Single ‘With Love From’
The sister duo, Aly and AJ Michalka, is back with new music. Both artists are sending love to their fans with this latest record, “With Love From.”
Aly and AJ have followed up their 2021 pop summer album A Touch of the Beat Gets You Up on Your Feet Gets You Out and Then Into the Sun with a new sound. The sisters’ latest record, With Love From, will contain eleven tracks.
Aly reveals of their new sound, “We wanted to make a record that kind of dug deeper into Americana folk music, and we’re not claiming that this record is among the American greats, but we did our best in telling our story and staying true to who we are as songwriters and musicians.”
The pop-rock duo quickly rose to prominence in the early 2000s following the release of their debut album Into the Rush. In addition, their third studio album, Insomniatic, contained a string of hits such as “Potential Breakup Song,” “Like Whoa,” and “Chemicals React.”
The singers are hopeful that fans will dig their new vibe, but pop music will always be their first love. AJ states, “Pop is still in our DNA — that’s songwriting at its essential core… But I think for Aly and I, bringing in a little more of a rock edge, a little more guitar, a little more analog-leaning production as opposed to electronic-leaning synths.”
Aly and AJ’s forthcoming record, With Love From, is slated for a Spring 2023 release. The lead single is already iconic. Be sure to stream the single on all major music platforms.
