A Million Little Things Is Ending After Season 5
ABC‘s A Million Little Things is concluding after five seasons. Creator DJ Nash confirmed that the series’ upcoming season will be it’s last.
A Million Little Things follows a group of friends in Boston navigating their lives after one friend unexpectedly dies by suicide. The series has developed a dedicated fanbase and an increased viewership since its premiere in 2018.
Nash explained in a statement that he only intended to follow the beloved friend group for five seasons. His statement reads, “I know seeing this show end may be sad for many people (especially my mom who watches live every week), but I always knew I wanted to follow these friends for five seasons and leave them when the time was right.”
The creator also praised fans in his announcement. Nash stated, “When we started making our show, I never could have imagined this incredible community of ‘Millionaires’ who would come together and not only watch, but also share with each other their personal struggles, their pain, and ultimately their true grit.”
ABC broke the news of the drama’s conclusion in the series’ midseason premiere. It has been announced that the final season of A Million Little Things will premiere early next year.
Chance Hurstfield, who embodies the role of Daniel Dixon, shared the news on Instagram. He writes “Because of YOU we get to make a #Season5 of #AMillionLittleThings!!!” He also expressed his gratitude to the creator of the series and ABC.
