The New Season of Elite Is Back and Better Than Ever
Get ready to put on your uniform. After five successful seasons, the Netflix Original series Elite is back for season 6, which comes out on November 18.
If you have never heard of Elite, it is a Spanish drama television series that premiered on October 5, 2018. Season 5 just came out in early April, so we are blessed with two new seasons this year. Unfortunately, many original cast members have moved on and will not be in the new season. But good news, Carla Díaz (Madres. Amor y vida) as Ana Montrell, Martina Cariddi (While At War) as Concha adolescente, Manu Rios (La edad de la ira) as Marcos, Pol Granch, Valentina Zenere (Cable Girls) as Camila and André Lamoglia (Bia: An Upside Down World) as Luan, along with five new cast members will star in this new season.
Every season of Elite has been quite intense, as there have been many cast changes. Carlos Montero, the dramas creator, stated, “This season is more intense, more mature, but equally addictive as previous ones. I have the feeling that everything which made fans fall in love with Elite is back in this season.” Though many of the actors are always leaving the show for new projects, Carlos Montero has done an excellent job in continuing to create suspense in every season, finding a way to make it sexier and more mysterious.
This new season will take place at the fictional school of Las Encinas, where all the drama happens. We will once again be seeing the returning and new cast members in their iconic school uniforms. As always, this season will be full of drama surrounding racism, sexism, domestic abuse, and homophobia around the characters.
