Daniel Kaluuya Is the Newest Addition to the Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse Cast
Daniel Kaluuya will bring his British charm to Brooklyn in the sequel of the Oscar-winning animated film Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse.
Kaluuya’s body of work boasts countless standout roles in films such as Get Out, Queen and Slim, Nope, and Judas and the Black Messiah. Although new to animated films, his phenomenal acting talent guarantees a performance fans will surely love. Kaluuya and the Spider-Verse saga have the Oscar-winning title in common, but he has also earned an Emmy nomination and BAFTA awards.
According to Hollywood Reporter, Kaluuya stars as Hobart Brown, aka, Spider-Punk, a homeless teenager and hero to the oppressed New Yorkers in his universe. Writer Dan Slott and artist Olivier Coipel introduced Spider-Punk to Marvel Comics in 2015. Since he is a relatively new character, Kaluuya has room to mold him into another well-liked Spider-Man.

Although the bulk of the plot remains a mystery, the romantic tension between the two seems to be a starting point. However, they will not be exploring the Spider-Verse alone.
